The Glacier National Park Fund sponsors a beautiful Glacier Park specialty license plate that shows a stunning panoramic view of Lake McDonald. We would like to extend our most sincere thanks to everyone who has purchased this plate thus far. Unveiled in January 2002, the cost of the plates and renewing them each year includes a donation that goes directly to the Glacier National Park Fund. By purchasing these plates, you show your support for the Glacier National Park Fund and the important work being done at Glacier National Park.

 

The license plates are available for $35 at all county Department of Motor Vehicles offices. There is a one-time processing fee of $15. The plates must be renewed annually and can be personalized (six characters or less) for an additional fee. You must register your vehicle annually to display the Glacier Park Specialty plates on your vehicle.
 		  
 

How to purchase and renew sponsored plates with no eligibility requirements:
An individual or business who owns a passenger car, pickup, van, sport utility vehicle, motor home, large truck or bus that is registered in Montana may display the Glacier Park specialty plate.

There is no special process to apply for or renew the plates. Montana residents can purchase a Glacier Park Specialty plate at county Department of Motor Vehicle offices.
