The Northern Divide Grizzly Bear Project deploys hundreds of technicians throughout Glacier National Park and the Bob Marshall Wilderness to set barbed wire hair snares and collect bear hair. DNA analysis of the hair identifies individual bears and reveals many important facets of the population. If you would like to see what bears really do in the woods click here.

The Discover Glacier Program is designed to bring children to the park and to expose them to the vast open-air classroom through ranger-guided field trips and hands-on learning experiences.
